Networked Intelligence, Can It Help Your Organization?

In this 18 minute TED video entitled “Four Principles For The Open World,” Don Tapscott explains that the internet is today’s version of the printing press and feels hopeful about the future because it supports the growth of what he calls ‘networked intelligence.’

Can the institutions of the industrial age, and their leadership, implement and take advantage of networked intelligence? Do they want to? Do they have a choice?

In my opinion, this is yet another reminder that the hierarchical, forceful and past-based old-school leadership archetype still found in many organizations is being blown away by today’s collaborative, trans-formative and visionary murmuration-leadership (see Starling.)

As always, I would appreciate your comments and questions.

We become what we think about!
